Nata Lisboa is a relatively young brand. It dates back to June 2012, when five partners opened a showroom at Príncipe Real, in Lisbon, where they sold their own version of pastéis de nata, which was based on a special recipe and had won a blind tasting contest at Estoril Higher Institute for Tourism and Hotel Studies. In December of the same year, they opened their first shop, this time in Porto.

The success was so great that now the brand has shops across the whole country, from north to south, and is also expanding its international presence. Now a global brand, Nata Lisboa is dedicated to celebrating and sharing the best of Portuguese confectionery – the iconic pastel de nata.
