Vila do Conde and Freeport Reinforce Commitment to Electric Mobility with 1 Million Euro Investment
Vila do Conde Porto Fashion Outlet and Freeport Lisboa Fashion Outlet have reaffirmed their commitment to sustainability by installing 39 dual electric vehicle (EV) chargers. This has been made possible through an investment of almost 1 million euros and realised in partnership with Atlante. This new infrastructure allows 78 EVs to be charged simultaneously, consolidating both outlets as strategic destinations in the promotion of electric mobility in Portugal.
The first phase of the project is already completed and operational in both centres, while the second phase will be completed by January 2025. In Vila do Conde Porto Fashion Outlet, 22 dual charges have been installed, allowing 44 vehicles to be charged simultaneously. These include two fast chargers next to the main entrance and twenty normal chargers strategically distributed. Two fast chargers are already in operation, with charging times between an hour and an hour and a half, as well as nine normal chargers allowing to charge in about two and a half hours.
With this investment, Vila do Conde Porto Fashion Outlet reinforces its commitment to energy transition, offering its guests a more practical and sustainable experience aligned with the demands of a greener future.
